About Organizational Sustainability Infrastructure Grant Program:


The program provides funds for organizational development needs of Black and Indigenous-led organizations across the state of Massachusetts while providing data for the Black & Indigenous Resistance Fund that will equip us to craft interventions to serve and strengthen the ecosystem of Black & Indigenous organizations across the state of Massachusetts. This program offers mini grants up to 25K.


Program Goals: 


  • Program participants access support that improves their operational efficiency and ability to effectively carry out their mission
  • Support meaningful improvement in an organization's infrastructure in areas such as technology, staff & board development, business operations, and capacity building strategies.
  • Program participants gain access to an intentional network of Black & Indigenous-led organizations that they are able to work collaboratively with to leverage resources and work in solidarity toward collective goals.
  • Support participating organizations in fostering a sustainable leadership environment.
  • Allocate grants ranging from $5,000 - $25,000 for participating organizations.


Applicants must meet the following criteria to be considered for Organizational Sustainability Infrastructure Grant Program:


  • Organizations must be a non-profit in Massachusetts with executive-level Black and/or Indigenous leadership.
  • A minimum of 51% of your organization’s leadership (executive leadership, management, and trustees/board) identifies as BIPOC.
